Kaleigh Lundy grew up in a family full of avid athletes, fitness enthusiasts and dancers. She has fun-filled memories of volleyball and golf tournaments, dance competitions, softball games and track meets. She even spent her free-time during high school and college teaching dance and junior golf. But after graduating from the University of Kansas in 2005 with a degree in Strategic Communications, Kaleigh moved to LA to pursue a career in Entertainment PR. The demanding schedule and workload of her new lifestyle left little time for her to enjoy her most favorite physical activities. She began feeling constantly tired, anxious and on edge because she was lacking such an important part of her life.
It wasn't until she tried her first yoga class in 2006 that she realized how much she truly needed the profound physical and mental benefits of exercise back in her life. As she continued deepening her yoga practice and started incorporating cardio and strength training back into her daily regimen, she became more and more confident of her true calling in life. Her passion and determination led her to complete her 200 hours of yoga teacher training at YogaHop in Santa Monica as well as obtain her Personal Training Certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Kaleigh is currently a Personal Trainer at Equinox Fitness in Westwood, CA and teaches both dance and power/vinyasa flow yoga classes throughout the LA area.
